KARACHI, July 21 -- The price of gold in Pakistan soared on Monday, with the per tola rate increasing by Rs3,600, according to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association (APGJA).

Following the latest surge, the new price of 24-karat gold stands at Rs361,200 per tola.

The price of 10 grams of gold climbed by Rs3,087, reaching Rs309,671.

Gold also saw a significant increase in the international market, rising by $36 to reach $3,387 per ounce.

Gold prices have been experiencing sharp movements in recent days, reflecting both global economic uncertainty and fluctuations in the currency markets.
