Pakistan, Oct. 14 -- Gold prices in Pakistan surged by Rs6,900 per tola on Tuesday, setting a new all-time high at Rs435,100. This sharp increase followed gains in the international gold market, where rates also hit fresh records. According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of 10-gram gold rose by Rs5,916 to reach Rs373,028.
Just a day earlier, gold had already seen a significant jump of Rs5,500, reaching Rs428,200 per tola. The back-to-back increases reflect growing investor interest amid global economic uncertainties. Traders link the rise to strong international demand and shifting monetary expectations. Gold is often seen as a safe haven in times of financial instability.
