Pakistan, Aug. 1 -- After ten days of tireless efforts, Rescue 1122 teams on Friday recovered the body of a 25-year-old girl and the car that was swept away by floodwaters in Islamabad. The tragic incident took place during heavy rains when the girl was traveling with her father, retired Colonel Qazi Ishaq, in a private housing society. Both were reported missing after their vehicle was dragged into a storm drain.

According to rescue officials, the car was discovered beneath Kak Pul in Rawalpindi inside a rainwater drain. The girl's body was also found in the same area, marking a heartbreaking end to the days-long search.
