Pakistan, Aug. 4 -- Senior actress Ghazala Javed has strongly criticised the mother of the late television actress Humaira Asghar, questioning her absence and perceived neglect in her daughter's life, particularly in her final years.

Speaking in a recent televised interview, Ms Javed expressed deep concern over the statements made by Humaira's mother, especially her comments critical of the people of Karachi. "Before blaming the people of Karachi, look within. What kind of mother are you?" she asked, visibly emotional.
