Pakistan, June 15 -- LAHORE - Former Pakistan white-ball coach Gary Kirsten has revealed the real reasons behind his early departure, saying he was sidelined from key decisions and unable to perform his job effectively.

In a detailed interview on the Wisden Cricket Patreon Podcast, Kirsten said he was excluded from team selection and had no say in squad building. "Once I was removed from the selection process, I lost the ability to influence the team," he explained. "It became impossible to make a meaningful impact."
