Pakistan, Oct. 6 -- WASHINGTON, Mississippi - South Africa's Garrick Higgo surged to a two-shot lead after three rounds of the Sanderson Farms Championship, firing a five-under-par 67 at the Country Club of Jackson.

Higgo recorded six birdies and one bogey to build an 18-under-par total of 198, edging Americans Steven Fisk and Danny Walker, who carded seven-under 65 and 67 respectively. "I'd say it was quite a good fight. Golf never really goes your way. I just stayed patient and tried to put good swings on it and roll the ball as best I could," Higgo said.
