Pakistan, Feb. 16 -- Bacha Khan University (BKU) has expelled five students for allegedly violating university rules and raising anti-state slogans. The decision was taken during the 73rd meeting of the university's disciplinary committee, held on February 13. According to an official statement, the students are accused of chanting anti-state slogans inside the university premises and singing India's anthem in a manner that allegedly provoked unrest and attempted to harm national unity. The university further stated that the students recorded the video and uploaded it on social media, which contributed to the spread of the alleged unlawful act.
