Pakistan, Aug. 9 -- Iran Air launched direct flights between Quetta and Zahedan on Friday, improving travel between Pakistan and Iran. The Airbus A-319 landed at Quetta International Airport at 9:15 pm and departed for Zahedan at 11:30 pm with 75 passengers. Initially, flights will run once a week, but frequency may increase depending on passenger demand.

A launch ceremony was held at Quetta airport, attended by officials from the Iranian Consulate, local business leaders, and Quetta Chamber of Commerce. Quetta airport manager Waheed Shah, terminal manager Ismail Khoso, and ASF's chief security officer also attended. The event highlighted the importance of this new route.
