Pakistan, Oct. 16 -- In the Mexican town of Huehuetla, desperate survivors of floods and landslides have appealed for urgent aid, warning of possible disease outbreaks amid rotting carcasses strewn across the mud. Torrential rains triggered rivers to overflow, sweeping away homes, roads, and bridges across Hidalgo and nearby states, killing at least 66 people and leaving 75 still missing.
