Pakistan, June 16 -- RAWALPINDI - Pakistan's security forces killed five Indian-sponsored terrorists in two intelligence-based operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, according to a statement issued by the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) on Monday.
The first operation was carried out in Peshawar on June 15 following credible intelligence reports about the presence of Indian-backed militants. During the action, troops successfully surrounded the hideout and engaged in a heavy exchange of fire. Four terrorists, including Kharji Haris and Kharji Baseer, were killed on the spot.
