Pakistan, June 20 -- The United States has removed its fighter jets from Al Udeid Airbase in Qatar amid fears of an Iranian counterattack. Satellite images show that while several aircraft were stationed there before the Iran-Israel conflict, the airbase is now empty. This move reflects Washington's concerns over a possible Iranian strike in response to rising tensions.
According to US officials who spoke to Reuters on the condition of anonymity, the jets were at risk of being targeted by Iran. They confirmed that aircraft were moved from the Al Udeid base as a precaution. This base, located near Doha, is the largest US airbase in the Middle East and has played a key role in regional operations.
