Pakistan, June 1 -- ISLAMABAD - The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has extended the deadline for filing Sales Tax and Federal Excise Returns for the tax period of April 2025 until June 5. This extension aims to provide additional time for businesses facing delays in finalizing paperwork.
However, the FBR clarified that the extension is only available to taxpayers who deposited their due tax amounts by the original deadline of May 18. The condition ensures that the government's revenue stream remains uninterrupted despite the grace period for filing returns.
