Pakistan, June 23 -- The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has extended the deadline for taxpayers to connect their invoicing and sales software with the FBR's digital system. This move aims to help businesses comply with new reporting rules more smoothly.

Corporate taxpayers now have until July 1, 2025, to complete the integration. Meanwhile, non-corporate taxpayers are given more time, with the deadline set for August 1, 2025. This extension provides additional time for businesses to meet the new requirements.

Taxpayers must link their invoicing systems with the FBR infrastructure through PRAL or an authorized service provider. This integration is crucial for digital reporting and will improve transparency in sales transactions.
