Pakistan, July 14 -- JUI-F chief Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman has accused Pakistan's state institutions of lacking seriousness in eliminating terrorism. Speaking to the media in Charsadda, he said institutions should not blame the public for their own failures.
He questioned why terrorism continues unchecked for over four decades, despite the state claiming the capability to tackle threats swiftly. "Our state, which boasts of neutralizing threats in hours, cannot be this weak," Fazl remarked.
He strongly objected to institutions accusing the public of harboring terrorists. "From Swat to Waziristan, people vacated their homes within hours. Today, many of them are still displaced in their own country," he added.
