Pakistan, Oct. 17 -- Senior Agriculture Officer Jam Farooq Ahmed has urged farmers to complete wheat sowing between November 1 and November 20 to achieve maximum yield and ensure better crop productivity.
He expressed these views while addressing a gathering of farmers at Mouza Doaba, under the jurisdiction of the Agriculture Center Muzaffargarh.
He stated that timely sowing during the recommended period is crucial for obtaining higher wheat production. He further advised farmers to focus on the selection of high-quality certified seed varieties, appropriate seed rate, timely sowing through seed drills, balanced use of fertilizers, and integrated weed management.
