Pakistan, June 30 -- South Africa's star batter Faf du Plessis has broken a major T20 record previously held by Pakistan's Babar Azam. Playing for Texas Super Kings, Du Plessis smashed a brilliant 103 off just 53 balls against MI New York in Major League Cricket. His knock included 5 fours and 9 massive sixes, thrilling the crowd with aggressive strokeplay.

This was Du Plessis' second century of the current MLC season. Earlier, he scored a ton against San Francisco Unicorns. With this latest century, he became the first player in T20 history to score two centuries after turning 40. His fitness and form continue to defy age.
