Pakistan, Oct. 22 -- Eurostar has announced plans to introduce double-decker trains through the Channel Tunnel for the first time, marking a major step in its bid to strengthen cross-European travel. The €2 billion ($2.3 billion) investment will fund up to 50 new electric trains built by French manufacturer Alstom. This expansion aims to boost Eurostar's annual passenger capacity to 30 million by the next decade, a 50 percent increase from current levels.
