Pakistan, Oct. 12 -- BRUSSELS - The European Union has begun the gradual rollout of its new digital border control system, known as the Entry/Exit System (EES), at its external borders. The automated system will electronically record data of non-EU nationals as they enter or leave the bloc, marking a major step toward modernizing Europe's migration and security framework. Travellers will be required to scan their passports, provide fingerprints, and have their photographs taken during registration, with the rollout expected to be completed over the next six months.
