Pakistan, June 18 -- Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has declared that Iran's defense against Israel's "state terrorism and madness" is legal, natural, and justified. Speaking to members of his ruling AK Party in parliament, Erdogan strongly criticized Israel's recent military actions and voiced support for diplomatic solutions.

He stated that Israel launched attacks on Iran - Turkey's neighboring country - without even waiting for nuclear talks between Washington and Tehran to conclude. Erdogan emphasized that Turkey wants these issues resolved through diplomacy and is ready to play a role in achieving peace.
