Pakistan, June 5 -- The electricity price for Karachi has been reduced by Rs. 2.99 per unit, offering much-needed relief to consumers. The National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) issued separate notifications regarding monthly electricity price adjustments for different regions. While Karachi benefits from this price cut, electricity prices across the rest of Pakistan have increased by Rs. 0.93 per unit.

According to NEPRA's notifications, the reduction will be reflected in Karachi consumers' June electricity bills. This adjustment applies to K-Electric's monthly price revision for March 2025.
