Pakistan, Oct. 23 -- The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Thursday has announced schedule for the by-election in Sindh Assembly constituency PS-9 Shikarpur-III, which fell vacant following the death of MPA Agha Siraj Durrani. According to the ECP, polling will take place on Sunday, December 14, 2025.

As per the official notification, the Returning Officer for the constituency will issue a public notice on October 31, 2025. Nomination papers can be submitted from November 3 to 5, and the list of nominated candidates will be published on November 6.

Scrutiny of nomination papers will be conducted on November 11, while appeals against acceptance or rejection of papers may be filed by November 15. The Election Tribunal will decide o...
