Pakistan, July 29 -- Dubai International Airport recorded its busiest first half ever, welcoming 46 million passengers despite flight disruptions caused by the Iran-Israel war. This marks a 2.3% increase compared to the same period last year, according to a statement released by Dubai Airports on Tuesday.

During the 12-day conflict, several airlines were forced to cancel flights across the Middle East as governments closed their airspace. However, Dubai managed to maintain high passenger traffic, averaging 7.7 million travellers per month or about 254,000 people each day.
