Pakistan, July 25 -- Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Muhammad Ishaq Dar Thursday said Pakistan firmly believed that Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) was a key political actor in the present fractured world and its partnership with the United Nations must be strengthened, deepened, and further institutionalized.
In a statement delivered at the United Nations Security Council briefing on UN-OIC Cooperation in New York, he said the subject of cooperation between the United Nations and the OIC resonated profoundly with the multilateral vision and the collective aspirations of the over 1.9 billion people whom the OIC represented.
