Pakistan, Aug. 4 -- At least 68 Ethiopian migrants lost their lives after a crowded boat sank off Yemen's southern coast in the Gulf of Aden on Sunday. The boat was carrying 154 people, and only 10 survivors have been rescued so far - nine Ethiopians and one Yemeni. Rough seas and strong winds are believed to have caused the tragic incident.
The boat capsized near Ahwar district in Abyan province during rough weather, making rescue efforts even more difficult. Local security teams and volunteers searched through the night, hoping to find any more survivors. Sadly, 74 people are still missing as rescue operations continue despite limited resources and poor weather conditions.
