Pakistan, July 7 -- Pakistan's Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has introduced the country's first AI-based Customs Clearance and Risk Management System (RMS) to modernize import-export processes. Launched under Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif's directive, the system aims to reduce human interference, increase transparency, and speed up customs clearance. It uses artificial intelligence and automated bots to accurately assess the cost, type, and risk level of goods crossing the border.
