Pakistan, May 18 -- Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar will begin a two-day official visit to China on Monday, May 19, as tensions rise between Pakistan and India. The visit comes at a critical time following recent military clashes across the Line of Control. According to the Foreign Office, Dar is visiting at the invitation of Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi.
During the visit, both leaders will hold in-depth discussions on the evolving regional situation in South Asia. The talks will focus on recent developments, including their impact on peace and stability in the region. Officials say the two sides will also review the full scope of Pakistan-China bilateral relations and discuss global issues of mutual concern.
