KARACHI, Oct. 26 -- The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) reported on Sunday that a depression over the eastern Arabian Sea has moved northwestwards in the past 12 hours and is now centered about 936 kilometers south-southeast of Karachi and 700 kilometers west-southwest of Mumbai (India).Pakistan Travel Guide

According to PMD's latest alert, the system is currently positioned over the east-central Arabian Sea near Latitude 16.5 degree N and Longitude 66.8 degree E, and is likely to continue moving northwestwards over the next 24 hours. The Cyclone Warning Centre in Karachi has confirmed that there is no immediate threat to Pakistan's coastal areas.
