Pakistan, Jan. 17 -- Dense winter fog has once again disrupted road travel across Punjab, forcing authorities to close major motorways as visibility dropped to hazardous levels.

According to details, Motorway M-2 was closed for all kinds of traffic from Lahore to Kot Momin, M-3 from Faizpur to Darkhana, M-4 from Pindi Bhatian to Multan, M-11 from Lahore to Sambrial, and M-5 from Multan to Zahir Pir.

Thick fog engulfed large parts of Punjab and adjoining regions, reducing visibility to near zero in several areas. and National Highway at Lahore, Manga Mandi, Phool Nagar, Jambar, Pattoki, Renala Khurd, Okara, Sahilwal, Chichawatni, Kiswal, Iqbal Nagar, and Mian Channu.
