Pakistan, Jan. 14 -- The delayed Indian Super League (ISL) will kick off on February 14, 2026, with all 14 clubs confirmed to participate. Officials confirmed the start after earlier uncertainty due to an expired commercial rights agreement. The league had been without a sponsor since December 9, putting the season at risk.

Some clubs, including reigning champions Mohun Bagan, had suspended player salaries and halted football activities in December. The All India Football Federation (AIFF) plans to take over league operations from the 2025-26 season under a proposed 20-year framework.
