Pakistan observed Defence and Martyrs Day today with solemn ceremonies and national spirit. The day began with a 31-gun salute in Islamabad, followed by events across the country honoring the armed forces and martyrs.

At the Naval Headquarters in Islamabad, a dignified ceremony took place at the Martyrs' Monument. Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Naveed Ashraf laid floral wreaths and offered prayers. Families of martyrs also attended, and the Naval Chief presented flowers to them in recognition of their sacrifices.
