Pakistan, June 17 -- A massive Russian missile and drone strike on Kyiv has left 14 people dead and 44 injured, marking one of the deadliest attacks since the war began in February 2022. Ukrainian officials reported that 27 different sites in the capital were hit overnight, including homes, schools, and essential infrastructure.

Rescue workers raced against time in the Solomianskyi district, where a nine-storey building was reduced to rubble, destroying at least 30 apartments. Fires erupted in multiple areas after drone debris scattered across the city, further hampering rescue operations. Among the dead was a 62-year-old US citizen who died from shrapnel wounds.
