Pakistan, July 19 -- Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar will visit the United States next week to participate in important United Nations Security Council (UNSC) events and other official meetings in Washington, the Foreign Office announced on Saturday. Pakistan, currently serving its eighth term on the UNSC, assumed the presidency earlier this month, marking its first presidency since 2013.

Dar is scheduled to attend at least four high-profile UNSC-related events in New York, including chairing open debates focused on international peace, security, and the Middle East situation.
