Pakistan has called for an immediate and permanent Gaza ceasefire at the OIC session, urging global action to protect Palestinians. Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar said Pakistan would push for peace as a UN Security Council member in 2025-26.

Dar condemned Israel's offensive launched in October 2023, noting over 63,000 Palestinians killed and 94,000 injured, mostly women and children. He said Israeli forces were deliberately hitting homes, schools, hospitals, and aid convoys, violating international law.
