The government must tread with caution as the country faces a sensitive and serious situation with floods and water management. Federal Information Minister Atta Tarar has said that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, with the support of all four provincial chief ministers, has made a plan to build new dams.
He told media the prime minister wants the Diamer-Bhasha Dam completed quickly. He also shared that even Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur offered funds for the project, showing that provinces are willing to work together.
