Pakistan, June 16 -- A notorious criminal, Ameen Baghlani, wanted by Dera Ghazi Khan Police in several cases of robbery, theft, and drug offences, was injured during a police encounter in Sanawan, near Kot Addu.
According to police sources, Baghlani was spotted with two accomplices in the Sanawan area, allegedly preparing for a robbery. Acting on intelligence, CCD Circle Police led by Inspectors Muhammad Nawaz and Idrees Khan raided the area.
Upon seeing the police, the accused opened fire. A crossfire ensued for nearly 10 minutes. Baghlani sustained a bullet wound to the leg, reportedly caused by fire from his own accomplices, who managed to flee.
