Pakistan, July 28 -- KARACHI - Three terrorists involved in past attacks on Chinese nationals were killed in a shootout with the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) late Sunday night in Karachi's Manghopir area. According to CTD in-charge Raja Umar Khattab, security personnel conducted a raid after receiving intelligence reports about the presence of terrorists belonging to the banned Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP).

As the CTD and intelligence officers approached the location, the terrorists opened fire from inside the house, leading to a prolonged gun battle. All three terrorists were killed during the exchange of gunfire. One of them was a suicide bomber, prepared to carry out future attacks.
