KARACHI, Feb. 7 -- Condemnations poured in from across Pakistan on Friday after a suicide bombing struck Imambargah Khadijah-tul-Kubra in Islamabad Tarlai area during Friday prayers, killing at least 31 people and injuring 169, according to authorities.

President Asif Ali Zardari expressed deep grief over the attack and offered condolences to the families of the victims. In a statement shared by the Pakistan Peoples Party, he termed the targeting of innocent civilians a "crime against humanity" and directed authorities to ensure all possible medical facilities for the injured.
