Pakistan, July 24 -- A powerful cloudburst in the Khandus area of Skardu has caused widespread damage, destroying 49 houses, 20 shops, and two mosques. The flash flood left several people, including tourists, stranded as it washed away a key bridge and collapsed the region's communication network. Rescue efforts are ongoing, but damaged roads and blocked communication lines are making it difficult for teams to reach remote areas.
