Pakistan, March 29 -- It is clarified that the area in question is a public playground located at F-11/1 near Ali Market, not a designated cricket ground. While the Capital Development Authority (CDA) initially permitted its use for the cricket and persistent complaints from residents of the adjacent community necessitated a review as per law. The Residents reported disruptions caused by large crowds even at odd hours i.e., property damage from cricket balls (including impacts on doors), excessive noise from matches, commentary, disturbances to daily routines and sleep due to round-the-clock activities. Consequently, the CDA again reviewed the space as a multi-purpose ground to accommodate broader community needs.
