Pakistan, July 3 -- HONG KONG - China's first domestically built aircraft carrier, the Shandong, arrived in Hong Kong waters on Thursday, marking its first-ever visit to the city. It was accompanied by three other People's Liberation Army (PLA) naval vessels, including missile destroyers.
This five-day visit is considered one of the largest displays of Chinese military power in Hong Kong in recent years. It comes shortly after the city celebrated the 28th anniversary of its return from British to Chinese rule.
