Pakistan, Dec. 29 -- China began its largest military drills around Taiwan on Monday, showcasing its ability to block foreign support in a conflict. The exercises involve dozens of aircraft, naval vessels, and missile units. Taiwan's military is on high alert as the drills continue.

The drills, named "Justice Mission 2025," are led by China's Eastern Theater Command. They include blockades, live-fire exercises on land and sea, and simulated attacks on key ports. Forces are deployed in seven zones, making this the largest exercise near Taiwan to date.
