Pakistan, Aug. 3 -- China and Russia have started large-scale joint naval exercises in the Sea of Japan, aiming to strengthen their military ties and challenge the current US-led global order. These drills, named "Joint Sea-2025," began near Russia's Vladivostok port and will continue for three days, involving operations in both surface and underwater warfare.

The exercises include complex activities such as submarine rescues, anti-submarine tactics, air defense, missile interception, and maritime combat strategies. Four Chinese naval ships, including the guided-missile destroyers Shaoxing and Urumqi, are taking part alongside several Russian warships. The drills highlight the growing strategic alignment between Beijing and Moscow.
