Pakistan, July 27 -- On the directions of Inspector General of Punjab Police Dr. Usman Anwar, a ceremony was held at the Central Police Office to honour officers and personnel who displayed outstanding performance in operations against Khawarji terrorists. According to the Punjab Police spokesperson, officers and officials were rewarded with cash prizes and certificates of appreciation for eliminating Khawarji terrorists. IG Punjab awarded 42 officers and personnel from Dera Ghazi Khan with commendation certificates and cash rewards. The recipients included personnel deployed at Jhangi and Lakhani police check posts, Police Station Wohwa, Special Operations Unit (SOU), and Elite Force.
