Pakistan, Oct. 4 -- Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has welcomed signs of an upcoming ceasefire in Gaza. On Saturday, he praised Hamas' recent statement supporting a U.S.-proposed plan. The PM said this creates "a window for peace" that must not close again. He expressed gratitude to President Trump and leaders of Qatar, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Turkey, Jordan, Egypt, and Indonesia. These leaders met Trump during the UN General Assembly to help end the conflict.
