Pakistan, June 23 -- A new Changing Diabetes in Children (CDiC) Center for children with type 1 diabetes was inaugurated on Sunday at Tehsil Headquarters Hospital in Chota Lahor. Provincial Minister for Industries and Commerce, Abdul Karim Tordher, officiated the opening.
According to a spokesperson for MTI Swabi, the center has already registered 62 children, providing them with free monthly supplies of insulin, glucometers, and other vital medications.
CDiC Project Manager Iram Ghafoor and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Head Dr. Arshad Hussain stated that center will serve children not only from Swabi but also from neighboring districts such as Buner, Attock, and Mansehra. Once registered, these children will receive completely free treatment until...
