Pakistan, July 11 -- The sale of cars during the fiscal year 2024-25 increased by 37.66 percent compared to the sale of last year 2023-24, said Pakistan Automobile Manufacturing Association (PAMA) on Thursday.
According to the data, as many as 112,203 cars were sold during the year under review as opposed to 81,579 units during last year.
The breakup figures showed that 16,614 units of Honda Civic and City were sold during July-June 2024-25 compared to the sale of 11,501 units during July-June 2023-24.
Toyota Corolla and Yaris cars sales increased by 54.60 percent as it went up to 25,212 units from 16,307 units. Suzuki Swift's sales also rose by 64.14 percent as its sales surged from 5,567 units to 9,138 units during the year under revie...
