Pakistan, Feb. 14 -- Alex Carey has taken a world record-equalling eight catches in an innings for South Australia in their domestic one-day cup win over Queensland.

It was the 32-year-old Test wicketkeeper's first 50-over game since being dropped from the Australian side at last year's World Cup in India and he had a day to remember. Five of Carey's catches were taken off the bowling of player of the match Jordan Buckingham, who finished with 6-41 in the Bulls' total of 218 at Karen Rolton Oval, Adelaide on Wednesday.
