ISLAMABAD, Oct. 23 -- The Ministry of Interior will brief the federal cabinet today (Thursday) regarding the Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan (TLP) amid growing calls for a ban on the group following recent violent protests.
According to official sources, the Punjab government's recommendations will also be presented before the cabinet. The provincial authorities have already urged the federal government to impose a ban on TLP under Article 17 of the Constitution.
