Pakistan, June 20 -- The Russian government said on Friday that Iran's Bushehr nuclear power plant is completely safe and working normally. Russia gave this update after Israel mistakenly claimed to have attacked the site. The Bushehr plant is run with help from hundreds of Russian workers. On Thursday, Israel said it had hit the Bushehr plant but later admitted it was a mistake. Russia's nuclear chief Alexei Likhachev warned that an attack on the site could lead to a nuclear disaster like Chernobyl. However, he said no damage occurred, and the plant continues to operate safely.
