Pakistan, Dec. 19 -- The suspect in last weekend's Brown University shooting in Providence, Rhode Island, has been found dead, officials confirmed on Thursday. Authorities identified him as 48-year-old Portuguese national Claudio Neves Valente, who also allegedly killed a Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) professor two days after the campus rampage. Investigators said Valente took his own life and appeared to have acted alone.
Valente, a former PhD physics student at Brown more than two decades ago, was familiar with the targeted building.
